She was born on March 29th, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza is her name. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico and was the child of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. Stevenson is Mexican and American. Her entire life has been a sports enthusiast. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina went to Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she won the New Mexico state golf tournament. Along with her volleyball game, she participated on state-level. In 2003, she started her studies in the University of Texas. In her final year, she took home every single tournament she entered. In her undergraduate career, she won the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female Athlete of the year.
